The walking dead

The walking dead

Well today is Halloween and it is surely become ever more popular over here in Germany. There are Halloween parties everywhere and people seem to enjoy get dressed up as zombies and the like.

Even pumpkin heads get more to be seen.

Which brings me to something else: A few weeks back I was shooting a zombie walk in Düsseldorf. For those who don't know exactly what this is, try to imagine hundreds of people meeting at some popular point in the city all dressed up as zombies!

Catrin and Oliver

A few weeks back I was asked to document the wedding of my good friends Catrin and Oliver. For me it was the first time to document a whole day, from the hairdresser session in the morning until the party at night. I covered the whole day with 3 cameras. My Olympus OM-D, my Olympus E-PL 1 and the Fuji X100. Every camera did a great job on the day. The Fuji is especially unobtrusive during the party, as it is quite small and has good internal flash capabilities.

Shooting my first wedding

A few weeks back I was asked to be the main photographer at a friends wedding. I knew it would not be an easy task as I have never done anything like this before.Inés and Thomas - bride and groom - are close friends of mine and they know my street photography and some pictures I took privately. They trusted me with this task. For me - this being my first shooting at such an event - I soon realized I had to be everywhere to get as much shots as posible of everyone there.
